tricot impromptu
Saturday evening, after a "raclette" with friends, I was very happy : a friend brought her knitting so that I can help her. So I took mine, and 2 other people took yarn and needles to have a try, and there was a man among ! So 4 people knitting and 3 chatting at the table.
Karis is in the last line : i've made 1 border repeat. Only 49 left. But I can't show you : it's just a bunch of stitches all sticked together. So I'm thinking about next project. I hesitate between 6 shawls (for each of them I have both the yarn and pattern, in the stash), I'm looking with envy at yarns/patterns I don't have to start a project, like "for this wonderful yarn, it's THIS shawl who would fit", or "for the desert sun shawl, I haven't THE yellow yarn that would be sooo nice with it" (is it really sensible ? No, I knew it...), my father would like a jacket... Difficult choice.
